Frame 1 / 7 Roll at a comfy speed
Steps
-
Some speed, not too much
Roll at a comfy pace. Too slow and balancing gets hard, too fast and bails hurt.
-
Back foot to the back bolts
Move your back foot just in front of the tail, over the back bolts. Front foot sits in the middle.
-
Shift your weight back
Push your hips back a little so the nose rises gently. If the tail scrapes, you went too far.
-
Balance with your arms
Arms out, tiny corrections. The balance point is narrow, feel for it.
-
Set it down
When you're done, shift forward, set the nose down softly and roll on.
