PUSHING
Boards don't roll themselves. Front foot on the bolts, back foot on the ground: push, step on, cruise. Everything starts here.

Frame 1 / 6 Front foot on the front bolts, toes forward
Steps
-
Front foot points forward
Front foot over the front bolts, toes turned towards the nose. That keeps you steady while you push.
-
Plant your back foot
Bend your front knee a little and put your back foot on the ground next to the board, level with the front wheels.
-
Push
Push the ground backwards with your back foot. Long, calm pushes beat short, frantic ones.
-
Step on and cruise
Put your back foot back on over the back bolts, turn your front foot sideways again and roll.
-
Learn to stop too
Easiest brake: drag your back foot, or slow down and step off. Sort out stopping before you go near a hill.
